With the intention of enhancing the athletic skills of the soldiers under command to Security Force (Wanni), Inter division Athletic Meet 2015 was conducted at the North Central Provincial Sport Complex, on 7, 8 and grand finale on 9 December 2015. rnrnS/86393 Pte Mendis R S P 2 (V) SLAWC was awarded with the 62 Division Challenge Trophy as the Best Female Athlete. The Best Male Athlete was S/431045 Cpl Nawarathne M M U K of 62 Division and was awarded with the E-Tel Challenge Trophy. rnrn62 Division became the champions of the Inter Division Athletic Meet 2015 and won the Commander Security Force Wanni Challenge Trophy whilst 21 Division and Team Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) became first runners up and second runners up respectively. 2 (V) SLAWC became the women’s Champions beating 4 (V) SLAWC. rnrnThe Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Maj Gen MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc who graced the evening as the chief guest distributed the trophies among the winners. General Officer Commanding of the 62 Division delivered the vote of thanks. rnrnA large number of gathering including senior officers, Officers and other ranks representing all 5 Divisions and FMA N/C had participated this occasion to encourage their brother soldiers.rn
