Today, March 25, 2023, the State Minister of Defence, Hon Premitha Bandara Tennakoon, MP paid a formal visit to the Security Force Headquarters (W) to address the officers and soldiers stationed in the Wanni region. The Commander Security Force (W) Maj Gen C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP and his staff welcomed the Minister cordially. Brigadier General Staff - Brig SPG Gamage RWP RSP USP gave an information brief about the Minister to the audience. Fifty officers, including the five Infantry Division Commanders and the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North Central), and one thousand and two hundred soldiers from five Infantry Divisions and Forward Maintenance Area participated in the address.
