Major General WMSCK Wanasinghe RSP USP, General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division made his maiden official visit to 211 Infantry Brigade and its under command battalions of 9 Gajaba Regiment and 5(V) Gajaba Regiment on 16 th July 2024.
General Officer Commanding of 21 Infantry Division was warmly welcomed by the Commander 211 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier IN Kandanaarachchi RSP. The formal procedures commenced with a Guard Turnout and a sapling was planted near the office premises before he attends for the briefings.
Thereafter, General Officer Commander appeared for a memorable group photograph in front of office premises and addressed the under command troops at the brigade lecture hall. He shared valuable insights and given relevant instructions during his troop address.
Finally, General Officer Commander attend to the all ranks tea, fostering comradeship and unity. Then he visited 9 Gajaba Regiment and 5(V) Gajaba Regiment respectively completing the day’s proceedings.
