VISIT OF ASSISTANT DEFENCE ADVISOR TO THE HIGH COMMISSION OF INDIA IN SRI LANKA TO SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI)

Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil, the Assistant Defence Advisor to the High Commission of India in Sri Lanka paid a courtesy visit to the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) on Wednesday (29).

Lieutenant Colonel Puneet Sushil was warmly welcomed by the Brigadier General Staff and the Staff Officers of the Security Force Headquarters (Wanni). Then, the Assistant Defence Advisor met the Commander, Security Force (Wanni), Major General Champaka Ranasinghe at the Commander’s office. At the meeting, they exchanged views on the role of Security Force (Wanni) with focus on security, community development, civil-military cooperation, illegal narcotic trading, etc.

Upon conclusion of the discussion, the visiting Assistant Defence Advisor penned downs a few words in the Visitors' Book. Afterwards, an exchange of symbolic mementoes brought the cordial meeting to an end.
