UNSERVICEABLE VEHICLES BROUGHT INTO EXPLOITABLE CONDITION BY 5 SLEME.
As per the instruction and the guidance of the Director EME Brigadier PSRL Rajakaruna Lsc a large number of vehicles were revived with the fullest engagement of technical assistance of SLEME.\r\n \r\nA long felt need in repairing number of vehicles of the under commanding AOR was in unserviceable condition. According to the instruction of DEME, special project implementation benefited to the Security Force Wanni under commanding institutes with the outcome of repaired vehicles.\r\n \r\nSpecial project in repairing of unserviceable vehicles were launched with the shorter period of about 3 months. Under the guidance of DEME, Commanding Officer of 5 SLEME confronted of the challengeable task and made all the necessary arrangements in repairing of all the vehicles of 15 tractors, 5 heavy Vehicles , 7 light vehicles and 7 motor bikes into exploitable condition.\r\n \r\nAfter the inspection, the repaired vehicles were relinquished to the respective Divisions, Brigades and Battalions by Commander Security Force Headquarters Wanni Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, and the Commander FMA(N/C) & Director EME at a brief function held on 22nd September 2015 at 5 SLEME -Saliyapura. The effort for completion of successful project of repairing the vehicles, the tireless commitment and the sheer dedication for the valued service of Commanding Officer of 5SLEME and all Officers and other ranks, was highly appreciated by the Commander Security Force (Wanni).\r\n
