TROOPS OF WANNI APPREHENDED ANOTHER LOTS OF ILLICIT TIMBER
Troops of 3 Commandos serving the Security Force Headquarters - Wanni while on a domination patrol in the general area of MUNDUMURIPPU on Friday (22) apprehended two suspects, along with 19 Satinwood logs and three chain saw, suspected to have been involved in illicit tree felling in protected forest reserves.\r\n\r\nTroops immediately on the directions of their Commanding Officer handed over the two suspects, logs and equipment to the Mankulam Forest Office for further investigations.\r\n
