Troops of Security Forces (Wanni) repaired for the Manamperiyawa tank bund due to heavy rainfall in the area

The Manamperiyawa tank bund in Thirappane agrarian services department was damaged due to heavy rainfall on 17 December 2023. There was an urgent need for repairing of this tank bund immediately. Hence, prompt action was taken by Commander Security Forces (Wanni) General Dinash Nanayakkara and directed the troops took 7th Regiment, Sri Lanka Armored corps for the repairs of the tank bund. The Commanding Officer 7th Regiment, Sri Lanka Armored corps Lieutenant Colonel L L K Weerasingha - SLAC along with 03 x 15 of troops and Villagers participated for this repair work which was able to reconstruct the tank bund at a short time. Villagers of Pahala Ambathale were highly appreciated for the dedicated service of the troops of Sri Lanka Army.
