TROOPS OF HEADQUARTERS SECURITY FORCE (WANNI) ORGANISED A MEGA TREE PLANTING DRIVE

Coincide with the Army headed project under the theme of “Thuru Mithuru Nawa Ratak” conceptualised by Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, troops of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) organised a mega tree planting drive at the camp premises of Headquarters of Security Force (Wanni) on 01 January 2020.

This programme was launched under the supervision of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc and there numbers of valuable saplings such as Kumbuk, Mee, Wood Apple, Jack, etc were planted.

Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc planted the first saplings to mark the event and all Officers together with Others Ranks followed him.

Brigadier General Staff Brigadier Nalin Coswatta RWP RSP, Brigadier Administration and Quartering Brigadier Jayanath Randeniya along with all Senior Officers, Officer and Other Ranks attended the event.
