A Buddha statue from Bellanvila Rajamaha Viharaya was escorted by army troops from Bellanvila Rajamaha Viharaya to the Thissa Rajamaha Viharaya Jaffna on 1st November 2020. At the PM hours the statue was kept at the Mirisawetiya in Anuradhapura to be carried on next day morning.
The religious formality to the statue and visiting bhikkus was organized from the Security Force Headquarter Wanni at the PM hours and next day morning at Mirisawetiya.
Commander Security Force Wanni Maj Gen WLPW Perera RWP RSP ndu, Commander FMA (N/C), General Officer Commander 21 Infantry Division, Commander 212 Infantry Brigade and Senior Officers of SFHQ Wanni were percent during this religious ceremony.
