Troops Apprehend another illegal timber cutting form 54 Div area
Alert 15 (V) GW troops of 54 Division serving in Periyamarippu area had noticed an illegal timber cutting at Kunchikulam, on 6th May 2016, while the troops were on foot patrol. Five civil persons had been cutting satin woods while they were being noticed. Troops had informed the Official of the Department of Forest Conservation Mr. H M Wickramasinghe and those five persons had been taken into custody with their instruments.
