The Commander Security Force (Wanni)Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP addressed the troops of SFHQ (Wanni) and 21, 54, 56 Infantry Divisions on 30 June and 01, 02 July 2022 respectively.
There, he emphasized the current situation of the country and responsibilities of military personals. Further, he elaborated that maintaining the discipline, behaving with responsibility to ensure the dignity of Sri Lanka Army, maintaining the balance between the army life and personal life andto discharge duties with responsibility to uplift the “Green Agriculture” programme which is going on now. The Commander further requested all the Officers and Other Ranks to refrain from irregularities, malfunctions and wrong practices to ensure the reputation of the Army.
On the account of Madhu festival the Commander visited the Madhu Church which is the most important religious place of Christian devotees and checked the security arrangements in the church premises. After that he observed the security arrangement of costal belt at Vidataltivu, Iluppaikkadavai and Vankalai.
General Officer Commanders of 21, 54 and 56 Infantry Divisions, Commanders of Infantry Brigades, all Commanding Officers of the Battalions, Officers and Other Ranks attended the event.
