Water leak occurred due to heavy rain in Kombuweththikulam tank bund in Palappanai Grama Niladahari Davison was repaired using sand bags by 10 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops with the support of villagers on 13 January 2021 as per the direction given by Major General D M T Dissanayake RSP USP 65 Inf Div and Comd 652 Inf Bde
