TROOPS OF 622 BRIGADE ORGANISES A SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR FESTIVAL AT THE BRIGADE PLAYGROUND

The Commander 622 Brigade Colonel S B Amunugama RWP RSP and his troops organized a Sinhala and Hindu New Year festivalat the Brigade playground on 10 April 2018 signifying unity, peace and harmony among all communities. This is an annual event in the calendar of 622 Brigade and organized with the guidanceof General Officer Commanding - 62 Division Brigadier L A N S Wanigasingha RWP RSP USP.

This ceremony was organised for troops and villagers to enjoy traditional Sinhala and Hindu New Yeargames where a large number of childrenand adults took part in the fun and amusement.

The General Officer Commanding - 62 Division Brigadier L A N S Wanigasingha RWP RSP USPgraced the festive session as Chief Guest.

Valuable Gifts were presented for winners in games and traditional events by the day’s Chief Guest and other Senior Officers.
