TROOPS OF 62 DIVISION DISTRIBUTES DRY RATION UNDER THE KIND PATRONAGE OF WIJAYA GROUP (PVT) LTD
62 Division has organized a distribution of dry ration under the kind patronage of the Wijaya Group (Pvt) Ltd to the drought-hit people in Weherathenna, Kambiliwewa, Koonwewa,Kohombagaswewa,Weherawewa, Weerasole and Balayawewa on 31 August 2014 and their 1000 families were benefited by this community welfare project. Ven. Rajawelle Subodhi Thero, Mr. KRG WiJayasundara, Chairman, Mr. SP Sunil Wijesiri, Mr. T M Karunarathna, Mr Janaka Kamalanath, Mr. Susantha Abeywickrama and Mr. Kirthi Laxman, members of Wijaya Group (Pvt) Ltd attended for this work of great virtue. Brigadier J Thanthiri Watta RWP, Commander 623 Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel AMSDB Adhikari SLSR, Commanding Officer 26 SLSR and Lieutenant Colonel J M L Jayasundara RWP were present at the event.
