Troops of the Headquarters of 613 Brigade and 26 Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry organised a donation programme to distribute some readymade cloths for a selected set of ladies of deprived families in Keerisuddan village on 17 November 2018 to keep a goodwill among people in the area on account of the forthcoming Christmas celebration.
The programme was initiated under the guidance and supervision of General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP in line with the view of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu to enhance the religious harmony and reconciliation among all communities in Wanni region.
At the end of this donation campaign all participants gathered at the premises of Keerisuddan School were provided with foods by troops of the 613 Brigade under the directions of overlooking Commander 613 Brigade Colonel L D S S Liyanagama RWP RSP.
