Troops of 611 Brigade joined hands in organizing a donation campaign on 25 August 2018 which was coordinated by Mr. Mahesh Ranasingheto distribute reading materials, essential stationaries and school items for students of four preschools in Muwarankulam area.
Over 30 underprivileged students representing ParadiDasan, Ilanthaleer, Pariluka and Christian Preschools in Muwarankulamvillage were provided with academic related reading resources, writing materials, packs of Books and essential school items.
This charitable programme was organised under the guidance of Commander 611 Brigade Colonel L P S SLiyanage RSP USP pscHdmc and supervision of the General Officer Commanding of 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP.
The Commander 611 Brigade Colonel L P S SLiyange RSP USP pscHdmc together with Mr Mahesh Ranasinghe graced this occasion as chief guests while Senior Officers, the team of donors, staff members of preschools and number of villagers participated in the event.
