In view of enhancing the virtuous rapport between military and all communities living in northern area, troops under 61 Division contributed their assistance to prepare the premises of Sri Amman Kovil in Thachchanamaradhamadu on 24 August 2018 on account of celebrating the forthcoming Kovil feast which is scheduled to be celebrated from 25 to 31 August 2018.
According to a request made by the chief priest and community leaders, troops under 613 Brigade contributed their immense support to adorn the shrine room and surrounding of the Kovil premises before the commencement of Kovil feast.
The pre preparation of the Kovil premises was carried out under the guidance of the Commander 613 Brigade Colonel R K N C Jayawardhana RSP and the supervision of the General Officer commanding of 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP.
