The prevailing adverse weather condition has caused effects to the tanks in Security Force (Wanni) area.
After a request made by the Disaster Management Centre in Vavuniya, troops under 213 Brigade promptly engaged in repairing the Kunchinuur Kulam and KuliKutti Kulam tank bounds under the instruction of Commander 213 Brigade Colonel KAN Rasika Kumara psc and with the Supervision of General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General Kumar Jayapathirana RSP
02 Officers and 34 Other Ranks actively engaged in repairing the tank bunds immediately by avoiding a severe disaster which could be occurred in the low level areas.
