Troops of 16 Battalion of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment started their 27th battalion training programme at the Battalion Training School Pampemadu on 18 March 2019.
Gracing the opening ceremony, the General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP illustrated his views on the befits of collective training towards operational and administrative purposes.
Later on, a valuable lecture on ‘Leadership and Etiquettes to be accustomed by military personnel’ was conducted by General Officer Commanding 61 Division Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP and the lecture was focussed on preparing Officers and Other Ranks for future leaders, military disciplines etc.
The Commander 561 Brigade Colonel RMPSB Rathnayake, Colonel General Staff of 61 Division Colonel K L S S Liyanagama RWP RSP, Senior Officers from 56 and 61 Divisions, number of Other Ranks participated in the occasion.
