The third course of the Special Strike Platoon Course, designed to develop basic combat skills and techniques that are needed by soldiers when dealing with routine operational duties and special situations, commenced today, December 19, 2022, at the Battalion Training School Pompemadu. In order to welcome 5 officers and 125 troops from the 21, 54, 56, 62, and 65 Infantry Divisions who are enrolled in this training, Major General H G P M Kariyawasam RWP ndc psc IG, presented the opening comments.
Brigadier S P G Gamage RWP RSP USP, the Brigadier General Staff, Colonel D M P U Dissanayake RSP USP IG, the Colonel Coordinating, Chief Instructor Battalion Training School, Commanding Officers, and all officer instructors were also present.
