Accepting the request made by Sri Lanka College of Military Medicine and with the direction of the Commander Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) and guidelines given by the General Officer Commanding 21 Infantry Division, Annual Medical Camp conducted at the Thanthirimale Raja Maha Vihara temple premises on 06th October 2024. This medical camp focuses to provide services of OPD, Medical Clinic, Eye clinic, General Surgery Clinic, Gynecology and obstetrics, Orthopedics, Psychiatry clinic and Dental clinic to civilians of the Thanthirimale area. All the clinics were conducted by consultant of the Tri Services. Meantime Mobile Dental surgery, Laboratory, Vision and Hearing testing, Ultrasound scanning, ECG and Physiotherapy services provided with the assistance of Provincial Director of Health, The Regional Director of Health Maha vilachchiya and the Thanthirimale Divisional Hospitals. The Medical camp served 805 civilians during the day.
70 maternity kit packs including other essential items for pregnant women in Thanthirimale area also donated with the collaboration of Lions Club District 306 (C-01) - Kotte Sri Jayawardenepura.
This event was conducted by the Commanding Officer and troops of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard, with the close supervision of the Commander of the 213 Infantry Brigade.
