To commemorate the 23rd anniversary of 56 Inf Div, Div HQ organized a series of events with the direction of Maj Gen KWR De Abrew RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc GOC 56 Inf Div and final matchers of the tournaments of Foot ball, Cricket and Volleyball among the teams of Div, Bdes and Under Command Bns were held on 25 September 2020 at the 56 Inf Div play Ground in Kokeliya. All Bde Comds, COs, All Offrs and Other ranks u/c to 56 Inf Div paid marvelous contribution in every aspects to make the event a success. Maj Gen KWR De Abrew RWP RSP USP psc Hdmc GOC 56 Inf Div graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Following teams were became the Champions and the Runner-up at each competition. Medals and Certificates to the achievers were distributed by the Bde Combs who have organized each game respectively and the trophies and mementoes were given away by the GOC 56 Inf Division .
