THE SINHALA PROGRAMMED FOR REHABILITATING FORMER MEMBERS OF LTTE
Sinhala language course had been organized for ninety eight trainees those who are rehabilitated at Poonthottam rehabilitation centre in Security Forces Headquarters (Wanni) area, under the supervision of, coordinating officer of rehabilitation Colonel Dayamal Jayasuriya. This was conducted over two weeks with the instruction by the Official Language Training Institute, and the certificate awarding General of the Official Language Training institute Mr. Prasad R. Herath graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Twenty two, scored above ninety and received distinctive certificates while, M. Indra Kumara deserved the first place of the batch. These trainees stated that the training they underwent would be a great support for them to enhance mutual co-operation between the other nations.
