Sri Lanka Army hosted a Cultural Entertainment Feast for all the international participants of Planning Staff Workshop - 3 (PSW - 3) of Multinational Communication Interoperability Programme (MCIP) at SLAF Eagle's Lagoon View Katunayake from 1900 hrs to 2200 hrs on 31 May 2017.
The Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army Major General N U M M W Senanayake RWP RSP USP psc participated as the Chief Guest of the occasion, who was received by the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals and the Chief Signal Officer (CSO) of the Sri Lanka Army Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc.
Around 50 delegates representing 17 countries, officials of the MCIP and other guests were accompanied by the invited senior officers of the Sri Lanka Army where music and traditional dancing were performed by the Cultural Dancing Team and the Orchestra of the Sri Lanka Army.
This cultural programme was hosted by the Sri Lanka Army as a part of annual endeavor of the USPASCOM PSW-3 of MCIP, which is presently in progress at Hotel Hilton Colombo from 29th May to 2nd June 2017.
