Security Force (Wanni) troops in close co-operation with health authorities (MOH) in Vavniya conducted the vaccination programme successfully at V/Gamini Maha Vidyalaya - Vavniya, throughout the day on 07 July 2021.
As the direction of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General D M H D Bandara RWP RSP USP and the instruction of General Officer Commander 56 Infantry Division Major General A A D N S P Dunuwila RWP RSP USP and close supervision of Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Brigadier A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP the troop of Security Force (Wanni) contributed to conduct the programme.
The thousand numbers of civilians above age of 60 years belongs to Garma Niladari Divisions of Vavniya Town, Vavniya Town (N), Rabakulam and Virapuliyankulam were vaccinated.
