SF HQ (W) JOINS TO MARK AN ARMY 65TH ANNIVERSARY DAY
The 65th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army celebration took place at Security Force Headquarters Wanni on ( Friday )10th Oct 2014. The massage from the Commander of the Army was read out by Brigadier Admin & Quartering of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Brigadier PSRL Rajakaruna lsc.
Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Competent Authority for Resettling IDP’s in Northern Province Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc, and all Rank participated for tree planting . The tea for all ranks were arranged at the SF HQ (W) Auditorium. There after Commander SF HQ (W) together with Brigadier Admin & Quartering of SF HQ (W) visited the ABIMANSALA -ANURADHAPURA in order to give gift parcels to the inmates. Meanwhile General Officer Commanding 56 Division Brigadier DAR Ranawaka RSP IG together with many officers visited the Army Field Hospital in SF HQ (W).
A Bodhi Pooja was conducted with all ranks to mark the Army day at the temple located in the SF HQ (W).
