SERMON HELD TO PROMOTE SPIRITUAL ADVANCEMENT

Expecting to promote spiritual advancement and righteous thoughts the topic of “Sith Niwa Hamaena Ama Budhu Guna Suwada “ among members of the Sri Lanka Army including Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Air Force serving the area of Security Force Headquarters - Wanni (SFHQ -W), the conduct of a Dhamma sermon was organized on Monday (24) by the officers and other rankers serving at Security Force - Wanni. It took place at the SFHQ- W auditorium under the direction of Lieutenant General Vikum Liyanage Commander of the Army and guidance of Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, Commander, Security Force Wanni.

Ven. Balangoda Radha Thero, incumbent at Belihuloya , Meditation Centre delivered the sermon and invoked blessings on the country, the Army, Navy and Ari Force all serving it. Transfer of merits on fallen War Heroes also took place at the same occasion.

Commander, Security Force Wanni, Major General Chamapaka Ranasinghe, Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Pradeep Gamage, together with Senior Officers, in to 100 Officers and 1200 Other Ranks of Tri Services in the Security Force Wanni area attended for the religious programme.
