Dawning of year 2019 brought a great happiness for students of Piyawara Pre School in Diviya Uda Bandawewa as they were gifted with books and sets of essential school items with the benevolent sponsorship of Hemas Outreach Foundation.
The distribution programme was taken place at Piyawara Pre School in Diviya Uda Bandawewa on 07 January 2019 with the presence of General Officer Commanding 21 Division Brigadier Kumar Jayapathirana RSP as the chief guest.
The event was grandly organised with colourful entertainment items including a concert with dances and songs performed by students of Piyawara Pre School in Diviya Uda Bandawewa.
The General Manager Communication and Sustainable Development of Hemas Lanka PLC/ Executive Director of Hemas Outreach Foundation Mrs. Shiromi Masakorala and Chief Executive Officer of Hemas Holdings Mr. Stephen Enderb coordinated the sponsorship made by Hemas Outreach.
The happiness of kids wasobvious all over their faces and it was a memorable event for over 50 children who gisfted with school items and books in the binging of their Pre School season.
The Principal of Piyawara Pre School in Diviya Uda Bandawewa Ms. W M Milina together with Assistance Principal Harsha Prabodhani dedicatedly arranged entertainment items and made their presence while Commander of 212 Brigades, large number of students and parents were present at the occasion.
