Security Force Wanni taking another step forward for the housing project laid the foundation stone for a new house of Mr SP Layanal Senevirathna residing at Thuppitiyawa, Thanthirimale on 26 May 2020 in wanni AOR.
Mr SP Layanal Senevirathna is having fore children and was undergoing lot of hardships even without a primary shelter to reside. Philanthropist living in Australia Mr Malin Rajapaksha sponsored fund’s to construct a this house and it was coordinated by the Commander 212 Brigade.
Foundation stone for the construction of house was auspiciously laid by Commander 212 Brigade Colonel Anil Peiris RSP USP psc gracing the occasion as the chief guest.
Construction of the house was under taken by troops of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard with the guidance of 212 Brigade and 21 Division.
Senior Officers of 212 Brigade, Commanding Officer of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard, family members of beneficiary along with number of civilians in the village too were present at the ceremony.
