Taking another step forward for the housing project launched by Security Force (Wanni) under the supervision of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Rohitha Dharmasiri ndu psc, the foundation stone for a new house for Mis AA Anusha Dilrukshi at Adiraanigama, Ihala Halmillewa, Eppawala was laid on 19 January 2020.
Mis AA Anusha Dilrukshi with his four children was undergoing lot of hardships which constrain them to build even a primary shelter to reside his destitute family. Setting as example to others, two philanthropists living in Australia Mr Prithi Gajanayaka sponsored to construct a new house for this destitute family and this great charity was coordinated by the Commander 212 Brigade Colonel Anil Peiris RSP USP psc through his personal affiliation.
Construction of this house was under taken by troops of 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps with the guidance of Commander 212 Brigade Colonel Anil Peiris RSP USP psc and under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 21 Division Major General Kumar Jayapathirane RSP.
Giving a prime place to religious observances the foundation stone for constructing this new home was auspiciously laid by the Commander 212 Brigade Colonel Anil Peiris RSP USP psc gracing a brief ceremony as the Chief Guest.
Divisional Secretary Thalawa Mr NHR Nishantha , Senior Military Officers of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni), the Commanding Officer of 7 (V) Sri Lanka Armoured Corps and family members of beneficiary along with number of civilians in the village too were present at the ceremony.
