Security Force Wanni taking another step forward for the housing project laid the foundation stone for a new house of Mr PB Sugath Lal Premasiri residing at Thuppitiyawa, Thanthirimale on 02 Nov 2020 in wanni AOR.
Mr PB Sugath Lal Premasiri is having three children and was undergoing lot of hardships even without a primary shelter to reside. Philanthropist living in Australia Mrs Poorna and Mr Hemantha wijewardhana sponsored fund’s to construct a this house and it was coordinated by the Commander 212 Brigade.
Foundation stone for the construction of house was auspiciously laid by Commander 212 Brigade Brigadier Anil Peiris RSP USP psc gracing the occasion as the chief guest. Construction of the house was under taken by troops of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard with the guidance of 212 Brigade and 21 Division.
Senior Officers of 212 Brigade, Commanding Officer of 5 Sri Lanka National Guard, family members of beneficiary along with number of civilians in the village too were present at the ceremony.
