On March 18, 2023, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) celebrated its 25th Anniversary under the direction of Major General Champaka Ranasinghe, the Commander Security Force (Wanni).
The 4 Gajaba Regiment honoured the Commander by presenting him with a Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour, highlighting the importance of the military traditions. Subsequently, the Commander planted a sandalwood sapling inside the camp as a symbol of memory. A drill tattoo by Special Infantry Operation Course No. 4 students coloured the event. Afterwards, the Commander addressed the troops and highlighted the importance of the military Service and the military protocols. Finally, everyone in the ranks sat down for lunch as customarily.
Brigadier General Staff, Brigadier Admin and Quartering, and all other officers and other ranks participated with the event.
