Troops serving in Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) marked the dawn of year 2019 giving priority to military formalities on 01 January 2019 with the presence of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu as the chief guest.
Formal event commenced with hoisting the National flag and taking the oath of the state followed by a two minute silence to commemorate fallen war heroes in front of Headquarters Office. Subsequently Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera addressed troops elaborating the government vision of giving priority to Agricultural Development.
Commander Security Force (Wanni), along with Brigadier General Staff, Colonel General Staff, Colonel Administration and Quartering and Senior Officers, Officers and all Other Ranks of the Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) gathered for this formal event.
