Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) coordinated a donation programme on 22 September 2018 to distribute essential equipment and tools for unemployed Tamil youth in 61 Division area for the development of their livelihood.
Focus was on unemployed Tamil youth with vocational skills in the fields of Masonry, Carpentry and House Wiring where 5 Tamil youth from Pirawankulam, Thachchanamaradhamadu and Nandankadal were provided with essential tools and equipment.
Mr. Shehan Hiranga Silva and Mr Nawaka Nawarathna along with Mr. Ramith Perera sponsored to donate these tools and equipment and the programme was launched with the assistance of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu to uplift the living standard of people in Wanni region.
The donation programme was organized by 61 Division under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 61 Division, Brigadier K D C G J Thilakarathne RWP RSP.
Mr. Shehan Hiranga Silva Mr Nawaka Nawarathna along with Mr. Ramith Perera visited these difficult areas for the distribution.
