As a continuation of CSR activities launched by Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) under the supervision of Commander Major General Kumudu Perera RWP RSP VSV USP ndu, a donation programme was held on 19 June 2019 to facilitate students of M/Paranagama School with modern technical equipment.
Students of M/Paranagama School are studying amid several difficulties without having modern technological equipment as available in other schools in Vavuniya District. After witnessing their hardships, Seylan Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility project stepped forward to donate a computer, a multimedia projector with a screen, 6 Uninterrupted Power Supply Units. Prior to this donation, Seylan Bank has provided 15 computers for this remote school in order to facilitate for students seeking the knowledge on Information Technology.
The programme of donation was organised under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 62 Division Brigadier Dhammika Jayasinghe and it was coordinated by Civil Coordinating Affairs Officer of Headquarters Security Force (Wanni) Lieutenant Colonel G A L Kithsiri.
Senior Officers of the 62 Division and under command formations, large number of students along with teachers were present at the occasion.
