SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI) CONDUCTED WORKSHOPS ON GIS AND ITS APPLICATIONS

Awareness workshop on GIS at the Security Force (Wanni) for was conducted on 01 and 02 April 2021. Under the direction of the Directorate of Operations.

Brigadier S D Udayasena RSP Brigadier (coord) research analysis Projection and Development Branch conducted the workshop on the subject during the period.

The programme enabled Officers and Solders to enhance the practical knowledge on GIS application in under command formations and Battalions. The knowledge gathered here will be benefitted for real time ground information up grade on the military maps.
