SECURITY FORCE HEADQUARTERS (WANNI) BLESSED WITH PIRITH
Coinciding with the 17th Anniversary of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), ‘Pirith Chanting Pinkama’ had been organized by the Headquarters on 20 November 2015 evening to next dawn. The meritorious Act was conducted according to a devotional attitude of the Commander Security Force (Wanni) with the integral instructions and guidance of the Ven. Chief Prelate of Mirisawetiya. 15 Ven. Bhikkus were preceded to the SF HQ premises with an elegant procession included whip crackers, both Up ad Low country dances, folk dances, stilt walkers, an elephant and many other traditional items. The series of the Pinkama was ended after offering the morning alms and Atapirikara to the Bhikkus. The Commander Security Force Headquarters (Wanni), all General Officers Commanding, Commander FMA N/C, all Brigade Commanders, Commanding officers, Officers and a large number of other ranks had participated the event.
