With the blessings of Commander Security Force (Wanni) Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP and the guidance of General Officer Commanding 54 Infantry Division Major General U D Wijesekara RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the programme was conducted by 542 Infantry Brigade for selected 35 students of low income families in MN/Kayakkuli Primary school Mannar, on 09th January 2022 at the Kayakkuli school as a welfare activity, to uplift their education standard and as an augmentation between civilians and the Army. Financial contribution for this event was provided by “HADAWATHINMA DARUWANTA” Isura Wickkramarachchi Foundation.
The event was graced by Commander 542 Infantry Brigade, Civil Affairs Officer 542 Infantry Brigade, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers, Mr. Isura Wickkramarachchi and officials of the foundation, principal and staff of the school and parents of the students
