To have coordination and up lift living condition of low income families in the area, welfare activities have been conducting by the Army. According to that, with the instruction of Commander 542 Infantry Brigade distributed 400 cashew saplings among the 26 low income families who have been living in the area, for up lift their future income.The event was held at "ISAMALATHALTHIV COMMUNITY CENTRE" on 07 Dec 2021.
Commander 542 infantry Brigade Col W S V Fernando USP IG was participated for the event as chief guest. Commanding Officer from 8 VIR, Second in Command 15 (V) GW with 20 Soldiers were participated for the event.
