REPAIRING MYLAMOTEI LAKE WHICH WAS DAMAGED DUE TO RAINFALL

The Mylamotei tank bund in Marailuppai agrarian services department was damaged due to heavy rainfall on 16 December 2023. There was an urgent need for repairing of this tank bund immediately. Hence, the direction of the General Officer Commander 56 Infantry Division, Major General HGPM Kariyawasam RSP ndc psc IG, Colonel MGA Malandaya RSP-Comd 561 Inf Bde, and closely monitoring the Commanding Officer 16th Battalion of the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment Major WH Wickramasamha RSP USP psc Lsc. Accordingly, 01x10 troops and villagers participated in this work, which was able to reconstruct the tank bund at a short period of time.
