REPAIRING OF ANICUT BUND BY THE ARMY TROOPS

Nikawewa (left) anicut bund in Welioya area was damaged due to heavy rain fall under the influence of “burevi” and troops of 14(V) Battalion of the Sri Lanka Light Infantry of 621 Infantry Brigade repaired the bund. The Commander 621 Infantry Brigade Col K K S Parakum RWP RSP directed the troops to repair the anicut bund with the Supervision of Commander 62 Infantry Division.
