RENOVATING OF A CHILDRENS PARK AND NURSERY SCHOOL BUILDING IN SENGALPADEI THIRUKKUMARUN SCHOOL
Troops of the 61 Division made their contribution to renovate the Nursery School building and Children’s Park in V/ SengalpadeiThirukkumaran School and vested to the school administration on 06 December 2017.\r\n\r\nThis charitable event was organized with the supervision and guidance of the General Officer Commanding of 61 Division Major General D M S Dissanayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu.\r\n\r\nThe Nursery School Building, Main Gate of the School, Children’s Park were renovated and the colour washed through this charitable project while the school premises was being cleaned on the same day with the assistance of the parents to prevent the Dengue threat which has been occurred due to the prevailing weather condition.\r\n\r\nThe General Officer Commanding of 61 Division made his presence as the chief guest while the, Director of Divisional Educational office – Omanthai, Mr. Shashi Kumar together with his staff, the Principal of the school Mr. Narendra Kumara, Medical Officer of Health – Iraneruppaikkulam, Dr. R Sumansekara, District Youth Officials, large number of students and parents participated in the occasion.\r\n
