RENOVATED A HOUSE DAMAGE BY WILD ELEPHANT ATTACK

A renovated house which was severely damage by wild elephant attack was vested to a needy family of Mrs. U Ranhami (Age 80) and Mr. R Sunil Rathnayaka (Age 48), 30 Galawewa, Rambakepuwewa, Thiththagonewa (Blind Family) on 04th August 2023 under the patronage of Major General Janaka Ranasinghe, General Officer Commanding 62 Infantry Division. And also, constructed an Elephant fence for the protection of house. Thehouse was constructed by 62 Infantry Division Engineer Service Regiment troops and the troops of the 5th (V) Battalion the Gajaba Regiment under the supervision of Commanding Officer, Major Yasitha Kuruvita, with the financial assistance by Mr. Yoga Perera and Mr. Susantha Jayasundara - Directors of Auto Lanka Land Vehicle Imports - Pepiliyana.
