\r\nA long felt need in repairing number of unserviceable vehicles was successfully accomplished with the fullest engagement of 5th Sri Lanka Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.\r\n\r\nAs per the instructions and guidance of the Director EME Brigadier PSRL Rajakaruna Lsc, numbers of vehicles were repaired in least expenses with minimum technical facilities.\r\n\r\nThis is the 3rd successful Project of repairing unserviceable vehicles under the proper guidance of Commanding Officer of 5 SLEME Lt Col JMR Jayasinghe psc Lsc and the effective contribution of all Officers and Other Rank technical staff of 5 SLEME.\r\n\r\nUnder the 3rd Project 15 Tractors, 06 Tailors, 06 Trail Bowsers, 02 light vehicles and one heavy vehicle were relinquished with the six months warranty period after the complete repair with the short period of time.\r\nThe commander of Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc participated in this function as the chief guest on 16 October 2016. After addressing the troops the Commander, Security Force Headquarters (Wanni) engaged in to a tree planting to mark this occasion in 5 SLEME camp premises at Saliyapura. The effort for completion of successful project of repairing vehicles, the tireless commitment and the sheer dedication for the valued service of Commanding officer of 5 SLEME all Officers and Other Ranks, was highly appreciated by the chief guest.\r\n\r\nThe Commander of FMA (N/C), Director EME, Commanding officers, Second In Commands and number of Other Ranks gathered this occasion.\r\n
