The 20th Battalion of Sri Lanka Singha Regiment under the direction and supervision of its Commanding Officer Major I J Wickramasinghe RWP RSP USP initiated in raising a Hard Ball Cricket Team on 03 February 2019 at the battalion premises.
This was the first hard ball cricket team in Sri Lanka Singha Regiment raised in aiming to bestow skilful cricketers to the Army as well as to the National Level.
Raising of a New Hard Ball Cricket Team was a pleasurable memory kept in minds of both Officers and Other Ranks who are fond of Cricket. In line with raising this Cricket team, an exhibition match was played on 02 February 2019.
