A huge tree which was fallen at Ganeshapuram Temple causing severe damage due to the heavy storm and rain which was took place on 31st August 2020 in Ganeshapuram area of the Marakkaranpalai GN division (218/C).
As per the request of AGA, Vavuniya and residents of the area, the tree was removed and the area including the temple was cleaned by the troops of 17 (V) SLSR and 562 Brigade.
