PROGRESS REVIEW MEETING OF THE SECTIONS OF RESETTLING OF VAVUNIYA SOUTH LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT AND SERVICES.
Progress review meeting of the sections of resettling of Vavuniya South, livelihood development and services, was held with the presiding of the Commander Security Forces (Wanni), Colonel of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and Competent Authority for Resettling IDP’s in Northern Province Major General MHSB Perera RWP RSP USP ndu psc at 1000 hrs on 13th November 2014 in 56 Division, Kokkeliya, Vavuniya. A large number of gathering including government officials and Officers of Sri Lanka Army participated the event.
Meanwhile, 8 packs of cement and 12 tin plates were distributed among each resettled families at the occasion. Afterwards the participated government officers went on an observation tour over Nandimithragama, Namalgama, Selalihinigama and Bogaswewa resettled villages to witness the progress of resettlements and contribution of government organization on behalf.
The Brigadier Admin Quarter and the Brigadier General staff of Security Force Headquarter (Wanni), and the General Officer Commanding of 56 Division were among the participants. The respectable government officials took part for the meeting as mentioned bellow.
