Community development programme launched by Commander Security Forces (Wanni) Major General C D Ranasinghe RWP RSP further strengthen by laying the foundation stone to the proposed house to be construed for a low income family of Mrs S Shantha in 217 Rasendrakulam Grama Niladharai Division Vavuniya on 11th February 2022 under the guidance of General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division and supervision by 562 Infantry Brigade. The proposed house will be constructed by 17 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment.
General Officer Commanding 56 Infantry Division Major General L D S S Liyanage RSP USP psc Hdmc participated as the chef Guest of this ceremony. The main financial sponsor was Mr B Malaka Jayasinghe, Jayasinghe Metal Engineers (pvt) Ltd, Medawachchiya. Commander 562 Infantry Brigade Brigadier A M S Premawansa RWP RSP USP, Commanding Officer 17 (V) Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment, Lt Col H K Kumarasiri SLSR and Senior Officer, Officers and Other Ranks has participated for this ceremony. The project was initiated by 562 Infantry Brigade.
