A series of Poson Day celebrations were held at 613 Brigade Headquarters on 20 Jun 2016 on the instruction and guidance of the Commander 613 Brigade, Colonel Ajantha Wijesooriya RWP RSP USP. \r\n\r\n‘Dharmadeshana’ was delivered by Rev. Walpolla Saranahimi to the troop of 613 Brigade, 26 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 24 Gajaba Regiment. Thereafter a ‘Bakthi Gee’ presentation had been organized and delivered by the soldiers of 613 Brigade, 26 Sri Lanka Light Infantry and 24 Gajaba Regiment. \r\n\r\nThe key members from the Tamil civil society and school children of Thachchanamaradamadhu village participated to witness the event. \r\n\r\nFinally, the ceremony was terminated with the provision of dinner for all the participants.
