POSON CELEBRATION ATKANAGARAYANKULAM BY 56 INFANTRY DIVISION

Poson Zone was organized in Grand style at the Kanagarayankulam temple premises in accordance to the vision of theSecurity Force Commander (Wanni) Major General WPADW Nanayakkara RSP VSV USP ndu and with guidance of General Officer Commanding 56th Infantry Division Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc, by all troops of 56th Infantry Division on 21st and 22nd June 2024.This Endeavour made a success with great contribution of Well-wishers, Bdes and units of 56 Infantry Division,andwith the participation of the Clergies, government officials, general public and students in the area. A display of Posonlantern, ‘Bakthigeetha’ and Rice Dansala were heldduring the event..

In order to make the Poson Zone success, this event was organized at the Kanagarayankulam temple with the initial intervention of Atambagaskada Kalyanatissa Maha Nayak Thera with participation of Hindu, Christian and Muslim religious leaders and civil people in the area were participated at Poson Zone. To conduct the devotional song soldiersof units under the 56 Infantry Division and from Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim School Choir in the area contributed greatly.
